1. ERR/ALM LED Flashing Red
A flashing red ERR light indicates a non-fatal error, such as a battery fault or I/O configuration issue. Action: Connect using CX-Programmer to view the error log and replace the backup battery or address the configuration settings.
2. ERR/ALM LED Solid Red
A solid red light indicates a fatal CPU error or hardware failure. Action: Inspect the power supply rails and the main logic board for damaged components or voltage fluctuations.
3. Communication Failures (RS-232 / USB)
Voltage surges on communication lines can damage the interface transceivers. Action: Inspect the board near the ports and replace damaged transceiver ICs (like the MAX3222) or optocouplers.
